Welcome to GoT Houses

I love A Song of Ice and Fire, and obviously Game of Thrones. I was first dragged into George R. R. Martin world by books, and later on moved onto the series.

Now as much as we all love GRRM, there is only the one downside to being an avid fan of his work and hanging on eagerly for the next installment... His time keeping is awful, just plain awful! There were many schedules openly set but unfortunately until recently very few were ever met. To my dismay there was a 5 year gap between A Storm of Swords and A Feast For Crows and even worse there was a 6 year gap between A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons.

Luckily in between the release of books four and five we had the HBO TV adaption of A Song of Ice & Fire, Game of Thrones, to keep us occupied. This really sky rocketed Martin’s fame and success and in recent years has made the Ice & Fire series into on of the most popular in the last decade or so.

So here I am twiddling my thumbs in between books and having finished Game of Thrones Season 7 waiting for Game of Thrones Season 8 to come along on by the end of 2018. And so, I asked my self, what to do? Lets make a site about Game of Thrones where we can discuss the story, the characters, Martin and even fan based conspiracy theories and filming locations. I will be focusing on houses, as they are the source of every discussion, but will do other stuff too.

I hope you all enjoy the blog which is going to be growing by the day and that you will all share the Ice & Fire / Game of Thrones love with all those who are unfortunate enough to not have come into contact with this wonderful series yet.
